After saying goodbye to our hosts Bernard and Annette Gloor, who gave us a lovely breakfast, we set off at 6:15am, heading for Lausanne. Bernard insisted on coming with us to show us a short cut to the trail we needed. We thought he was going to come a couple of hundred yards but he actually walked with us for about 1.5kms!
