Our journey in England

on Sunday 16th April, our 43rd wedding anniversary we set off from Canterbury Cathedral.  18 kms later we were in Shepherdswell where we were met by our friends Ruth and Ros King who took us to their home in Dover, wined and dined us and gave us a comfortable bed for the night.  In the morning they took us back to Shepherdswell to continue our journey.  Today was a cold and wet day, mostly travelling cross country.

At the end on 16.4 kms we reached Calais and the end of our two-day walk in England.  Tonight we sleep in Calais and tomorrow we start our French adventure.  All is well.
