DAY OF REST - LUCCA

This morning we woke up at 7:00am. What a luxury after getting up most days at 4:30am! After a "proper" breakfast we were off to replenish our supplies and in Ana Maria's case to replace her sunglasses which broke some days ago. 

The rest of the day we have spent just walking around this beautiful city, known as the City of the hundred churches. Well, we haven't counted them but I assure you there are a lot. I have never understood why there are so many all very near each other.

Tomorrow we set off again, this time to Altopascio some 17kms away. Rome beckons!
