As we left Corbeil this morning at 0745hrs the sun was shining. It continued like that for most of the day. Our 25 kms today were partly on the Voie Romaine and partly on the road. Notwithstanding the fact that we were extremely tired yesterday we made very good time today at an average speed of almost 4kms per hour, which for us is almost a record.

Talking of records, today we passed our first 500kms and nearly 700,000 steps on this walk.  Not bad going for two oldies, I hear you say.  Might this be worthy of some kind soul donating a tenner to celebrate the occasion?  Thank you to all those who have already donated and to those who follow our journey.  It soothes our aching bodies when you post comments that show you are following our steps.  It is very encouraging for us so please keep on commenting and share our posts with your friends.  And let's keep the money coming in.  It's for a really good cause.
