Les Archots to Champlitte -24kms

We had a very good evening in Les Archots with our friends Peter and Johanna. Felt a little bit the worse for wear this morning after we celebrated the "patron's" birthday!

Today was a beautiful sunny morning for walking, specially for the first three hours as we went through woods giving us much-needed shade. Later we had to walk up a long and steep hill which sapped our strength. The last 13 kms were along a minor road with fields on both sides, but in the boiling sun and practically no shade anywhere. We were shattered by the time we arrived. Two beers brought us back to life. The struggle tonight has been to find accommodation for the next few days which is proving very difficult!
